SPP Conference Modernization and Sustainability: Law-making support in the 21st century, Dakar, Senegal, 20-22 October 2010

The scientific meeting organized by SPP in collaboration with the National Assembly in Dakar was a great success. Over 50 colleagues from Europe and Africa attended the conference and many of them expressed their wish to become members of SPP.
2010 Dakkar/Senegal: Venue of the Conference
The participants were provided with an opportunity to exchange fruitful views and create a solid foundation of communication. The conference was honored with the presence of the Vice-president of the National Assembly of Senegal Mr. Amadou Cire Sall and wide publicity was given to the event since it was aired on state television and presented in the press.
Key role for the success of our scientific meeting was played by the Steering Committee member Mr. Khayrou Cisse who had the responsibility of the organization in close cooperation with the President of SPP Dr. Marietta Minotos, Director of the General State Archives of Greece, and Dr. Guenther Schefbeck, Vice-president of SPP. It is necessary to be stressed that the contribution of the Secretary General of the National Assembly of Senegal Mrs. Marie Josephine Diallo and of the Director of the National Archives of Senegal in Dakar our colleague Mr. Babacar Ndiaye, President of WARBICA are very significant.
