Principles on the Role of Archivists
SPA and the Working Group on Human Rights are working together to produce a document setting out the Principles on the Role of Archivists. It is being modelled on the UNESCO endorsed Principles on the Role of Lawyers and aims to assist the profession promote and ensure the proper role of archivists in society.

The aim of this project is to develop a series of strategies that will assist Category B members share knowledge and information on managing their associations and providing services to members.

Develop guidelines on preparing an association newsletter
These guidelines will assist associations wanting to start a newsletter and will cover such topics as deadlines, content, advertising, editorial responsibilities, advertising, formats and distribution.
