This project supported by PCOM brings together several partners in France and in Burkina Faso, including the Association of French Archivsts, Archivists without Borders-France, and the Archives départementales de l'Aude (local archives in France). From Burkina Faso, the National Archives and the steering group composed by representatives from various public agencies and from the National Assembly attended the wokshops delivered by colleagues from the Association des Archvistes français on the basis of the Recordkeeping for Good Governance Toolkit.  In particular, a draft recordkeping policy for Burkina Faso was developed to be presented to Soungalo Ouattara for adoption by the government as a whole.

The week in Ouagadougou was completed by a visit to the National School of Administration and Magistracy, which recently launched in the framework of the same programme a curriculum on records and archives management.
