MediaInfo - Program for technical information on audio and video
MediaInfo is a program that provides technical information on audio and video files and allows access to the intrinsic metadata of these files. All this information can be viewed and exported in different formats.
The highlights:
• It is a freeware open source (you can access the source code).
• It was translated into 26 languages.
• It accepts a variety of formats and codecs, both video and audio. Video (MKV, OGM, AVI, DivX, WMV, QuickTime, Real, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DVD (VOB), DivX, XviD, MSMPEG4, ASP, H.264, AVC...). Audio: (OGG, MP3, WAV, RA, AC3, DTS, AAC, M4A, AU, AIFF...)
• It allows you to display information in different presentations and to export data to different formats: .txt, .csv, .html.
• It is available for Windows (from Windows 95 to Windows 7) and Linux.
• It is under GPL (General Public License).
