La Journée internationale des archives 2012 à Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Archives Society will be present a day of free talks and exhibits in celebration of International Archives Day. Three distinguished speakers will discuss Hong Kong’s archives around the seminar topic: “Archives of Hong Kong: More Than Cherished Memories?” Whilst eight of Hong Kong’s archive institutions will come together to demonstrate the rich diversity of the territory’s historic treasures, by presenting records and materials from their archival collections in an exhibition.
The event has been promoted widely to schools, higher education institutions and the general public, with the aim to demonstrate the value and diversity of documentary heritage in Hong Kong.
