Drazen Kusen graduated from Catholic Faculty of Theology in Zagreb in 1995 where he also received a Master of Philosophy degree in 2003. Between 1995 and 1998 he served in Diocesan Ordinary in Djakovo. Since 1999 he has worked as an archivist in State Archives in Osijek. For many years he has been engaged in professional, research and science work and by now he has published more than 30 works in the field of archival science and other fields, both in domestic and foreign publications. He is listed in the Register of Scholars of the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education and Sports. Since 2009 he has also worked as a Senior Lecturer at Department of Information Science in Osijek. At University of Zagreb, Faculty of Humanities and Social Science on 12 January 2011 he successfully defended a doctoral dissertation.
