Historian and archivist. She studied in the Facultad de Humanidades de la Universidad de la República (FHCE-UDELAR-Uruguay), did the Stage Technique international des Archives de France (2006) and a formation for foreign professionals in the Institut National du Patrimoine (2010, France) in which she did interships in different French institutions with important photographical archives. Since 2008, she is doing a master in Social Sciences in the FHCE and her thesis is about the Cinematographical Institute of the University and the origins of scientific photography and cinematography in Uruguay (1940-1970). Between 2002 and 2010 she worked in the Centro Municipal de Fotografía (Intendencia Municipal de Montevideo), focusing her activity in the treatment of the historical and contemporary photographical fonds of the institution. Since 2006, she is working in the Archivo General de la Universidad de la República and is collaborating with the mounting of a laboratory to treat the archives of the Cinematographical Institute of the University.
