I studied Archival and Library Sciences at the Ionian University of Greece and I have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree (Hellenic Open University, School of Social Sciences). I currently hold an Archivist position in the Planning, Coordination and Studies Department of the National Archives Agency in Greece (Athens). I served as Archives Administrator in the Athens 2004 Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games and as Library and Archives Services Manager of the Olympic Village. Before that I worked as a Librarian in the National Library of Greece and as an Information and Library Systems expert in Ergodata SA. I had been elected President of the Association of Archivists – Librarians in Greece since 2001 and from June 2010 I am serving the Association of Archivists and Librarians as Secretary General.
