International Council of Archives

As Simon Fraser University's Records Management Archivist, I am responsible for conducting records inventories; preparing records retention schedules; researching and writing records management and archival appraisal rationales; providing records classification and record-keeping advice and assistance to campus departments; operating the University's records centre; developing information management policies, procedures, standards and guidelines; and accessioning records transferred to the University Archives. Currently, I am assisting in the creation of an electronic records preservation infrastructure in the University Archives.
