International Council of Archives

Born in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico in 1978. He graduated from the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Universidad Autónoma de Coahuila. Graduated from the MA in Cultural Promotion and Development in the same university with a thesis on "The socio-cultural projection of the Historical Archives". Has a diploma in Advanced Writing from Universidad Iberoamericana and another in the Political Development from Universidad Autónoma del Noreste. He served for six years as deputy editor of the editorial department of the Archivo Municipal de Saltillo, where he assisted with the co-publication of the “Gazette of Saltillo”, mouthpiece of the institution. Since 2006, he serves as coordinator of the Department of Events and Outreach Archivist of the same historical archive. Currently, is president of the Association of Archivists of the state of Coahuila, Mexico. As an amateur photographer, has documented both daily episodes of Downtown Saltillo, as events of the traditional festivals of the region, his photos have been included in local and foreign publications.
