Dear ICA Member,
I am writing to announce the departure of ICA’s Executive Director, Dr Anthea Seles.
Since joining the ICA as Secretary General (now Executive Director) in 2017, Anthea has brought a tremendous level of energy, enthusiasm and industry knowledge to the role. Under her management, the ICA has implemented many important reforms, modernising and improving the operations of the organisation as well as its strategic outlook.  She has been a strong advocate for inclusivity and consultation across the membership, and worked hard to ensure that these values have now been enshrined in ICA’s newly revised Constitution.
She is now moving on to pursue a new professional challenge; and while she will be missed by the ICA I wish her every success in her next endeavour. I know that she will remain a good friend of the ICA and I am sure she will, in her new role, continue to contribute to our profession.
Anthea will be finishing up on the 4th March, 2022.
A recruitment process is now underway to appoint the next Executive Director, following the process prescribed by our internal regulations. A vacancy notice seeking applications for the position will be published soon on the ICA website and through several other channels. The process is expected to be completed with a new appointment announced immediately following the May 2022 meeting of the ICA Executive Board.
With best regards,
David Fricker
ICA President
