The 2010 ICA/SUV Conference Archival Traditions and Practice. Are Archivists Historians?" will be hosted by Institute for the History of Charles University and Archive of Charles University and the Masaryk Institute and Archive of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

The Guide to the archives of international organizations is a joint project between UNESCO and the International Council on Archives and the Section of Archivists of International Organizations (ICA/SIO).

The 8th European Conference on Digital Archiving is fast approaching!

It is with great emotion that the International Council on Archives has learned about the earthquake which hit Haiti on Tuesday, 12th January 2010. Through the Council, the whole archival community expresses its deepest sympathy to the victims of this disaster and their relatives.

A number of posts within the ICA are open for election next year. All voting members of ICA are invited to nominate candidates to these posts.

The Programme Commission is launching a new call for projects: do not miss this opportunity and submit your ideas by the 28th February 2010!
