About
Within the general objectives of ICA as set out in chapter III of the Constitution,
- to promote co-operation and communication between teachers of archival studies and archive schools
- to maintain links between archival research and study and archival education
- to study problems relating to the training of the various categories of archive personnel
- to develop teaching materials and to ensure their promotion and dissemination
- to provide professional advice on the organisation and planning of initial and continuing education programmes
- to co-operate with other ICA bodies in the development of professional and technical training in relevant areas
