To further the aims of ICA and to strengthen co-operation within the Pacific region, including the Pacific Islands, Hawaii and Australasia. PARBICA is responsible for carrying out the policy and programmes of ICA in this region, where these are relevant to PARBICA members. PARBICA operates under the PARBICA Constitution adopted at the branch's ninth general conference, Palau, 2001 (replacing the constitution adopted by the inaugural conference, Fiji,1981).
