Announcing the PCOM Call for Projects 2025!

The Programme Commission (PCOM) is excited to announce the Call for Projects 2025! Every year, we strive to support initiatives that positively impact our community, and this year is no exception. We invite ICA groups and members to submit project proposals that align with our mission and contribute to the collective growth of the archival community. 

Programme Commission Mission

PCOM is responsible for the professional and technical program of the ICA, coordinating the activities of Regional Branches, Professional Sections, and Expert Groups, and overseeing the professional content of ICA international congresses and conferences. We fund archives and records management projects that support the ICA’s professional programme and strategic plan. 

Funding Details

• Maximum Funding Amount: 5,000€
• Project Duration: One calendar year (January to December)

Funding applications will be considered for projects that include onsite or online events, development and publication of resources, and advocacy activities. Applicants must also secure additional funding or resources from other sources.

Who Can Apply?

Eligible applicants include:

1. ICA Groups: Active ICA groups (Regional Branch, Professional Section, Expert Group, or Working Group) with an approved project from their members or aligned with their work plan for 2025. The project leader should be a member of the ICA body Steering Committee or endorsed by such a committee.
2. Individual Members: A member of ICA or a staff member of an institutional member of ICA, registered as a right-holder of the institution’s membership. Project leaders must be ICA members in good standing for the project year.

Application Procedure

Submit your Application Form by 7 November 2024 at 23:59 CET (Paris time). Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
