Bursaries for Francophone Participants 

Thanks to the support of the French Ministry of Culture, ICA is offering bursaries for participants from francophone developing countries and territories, who are ICA individual members or staff of ICA institutional members in good standing. 

Covered by the bursary: 

  • Congress registration 
  • Airfare 
  • Accommodation (4 nights) 
  • Visa fee reimbursement (up to 100 EUR) 
  • Allowance (150 EUR) 

Eligibility: 

  • Work in archives or information services in a francophone developing country or territory 
  • Work in French 
  • Be committed to sharing knowledge gained at the Congress 

Deadline: Sunday, 6 July 2025, 23:59 CET (Paris time).

Bursaries for SIDS, LDCs, Developing Economies, and FCS 

ICA, in collaboration with UNESCO, is also offering bursaries for applicants from Small Island Developing States (SIDS), Least Developed Countries (LDC), Developing Economies (excluding high-income economies), and Fragile and Conflict-affected Situations (FCS). 

Covered by the bursary: 

  • Congress registration 
  • Airfare 
  • Accommodation (5 nights) 
  • Visa fee reimbursement (up to 100 EUR) 
  • Allowance (150 EUR) 

Additional components: 

  • Required participation in a UNESCO–Memory of the World workshop 
  • Submission of a short post-Congress report 

Eligibility: 

  • Work in a documentary heritage-related organization, project, or initiative in an eligible country 
  • No ICA membership required 
  • Commitment to knowledge sharing after the Congress
