The ICA is pleased to announce that Comma Volume 2022, Issue 2 is now available in both digital and print formats. We are excited to share this special edition of Comma, focused on the New Professionals Programme, edited by Nicola Laurent, Cécile Fabris, Oscar Zamora Flores, and Margaret Crockett.
In this issue, we explore how new professionals bring passion, enthusiasm, and a critical perspective to the archival profession. From their education and training to how theory is applied in practice, they bring fresh ideas, challenge established norms, and question best practices. Creating inclusive spaces for newcomers is vital to the success and evolution of the field, allowing new professionals to share their ideas and helping to foster the profession’s growth. Encouraging established recordkeepers to listen, learn, and engage is key to driving the profession forward.
