NPP/FAN Virtual Seminar Series – Call for Presenters

The NPP/FAN Virtual Seminar Series is organized by the New Professional Programme (NPP) in collaboration with the Forum of National Archivists (FAN), to give voice to our current international community of students and new professionals and provide an opportunity to engage with leaders in the profession. The series will commence with three seminars in the first half of the year (details below), with another three to be held in the second half of 2024.

Resource of the Month: ICA Poster Award Winners 2023

In 2022, the Programme Commission (PCOM) opened the ICA Poster Award to share the work that our members have undertaken across the world. At this year’s Congress in Abu Dhabi, PCOM was highly impressed with the number and quality of posters submitted for the 2023 Award. Nearly 75 posters were judged by the Poster Award Committee across 2 days, with the results shared at the end of Congress week.  

From these submissions, 5 prizes were awarded: 3 to the most outstanding posters (all categories and themes combined), 1 for the best poster authored by a New Professional (i.e., with less than 5 years' experience in the field), and 1 for the best poster in the category “Originality/Look into the Future”.

Resource of the Month: ICA Poster Award Winners 2023

ICA Poster Award Winners 2023

The ICA Abu Dhabi Congress 2023 Programme Committee was delighted with the number of posters received for the October Congress. Nearly 75 posters were judged by the Committee during Poster Sessions which took place on 10 and 11 October. The results were announced on Friday, 13 October during the Closing Ceremony. We would like to congratulate all those professionals who presented their posters at the Congress, with a special congratulations to those who received awards.
