a three-day community based workshop at St. Kitts, for the CARBICA Region (26-29 April 2017)
The workshop entitled, “Preserving Your Memories in a Digital World” was held at The Open Campus of The University of the West Indies in the twin-island State of St. Kitts & Nevis from 26th to 29th April 2017. The workshop was designed for the citizens of St. Kitts & Nevis as well as members of CARBICA in neighbouring territories. Through its opening ceremony with the attendance of high level officials the workshop raised awareness of the national archives and its role within that society as it relates to the long-term preservation of records of enduring value as well as the provision of access to archives to the citizenry and researchers at large.
