ICA is pleased to announce that it is participating in Archive and Records Association of the UK and Ireland’s (ARA) #ArchiveHour, but this time it will be an #InternationalArchiveHour edition held on Thursday, 25 February 2021 between 20:00-21:00 GMT/21:00-22:00CET/ 14:00-15:00CST.
#ArchiveHour was started by ARA in 2017 as a way to engage with the archives and records community in the United Kingdom and Ireland via twitter to discuss issues and topics of interest. The event takes place the last Thursday of every month between 20:00-21:00 GMT and this year they have decided to have a special edition #InternationalArchiveHour for the international community to be able to participate.
ICA will be joined by ALA (ICA’s Latin American branch) and other international colleagues to explore topics and exchange information on archives in the international sphere. We have prepared a ‘how-to’ guide for our members to help them understand how the event will be run and how to participate.
