International Archives Week will take place from June 8 to June 14 2020 and we encourage the archives and records profession to join us by organising virtual events like webinars, online exhibitions and online talks.
The archival, records and data landscape in the 21st century is changing public expectations, how we do our work, what constitutes credible evidence and how we protect our holdings. The Archives are Accessible demonstrated, during the current global pandemic, that we can continue to deliver important services to our users but it is also forcing us to re-examine not only ways of working but how we continue to engage and deliver our services to the public.
Our profession (data and information managers, records managers and archivists) more than ever can provide opportunities to ensure we deliver benefits to citizens and Knowledge Societies. We will be organising webinars, blogs and online interactions with the archival community.

#AnArchiveIs – ICA’s 2020 Social Media Campaign

Join us throughout the campaign starting 30 April culminating on International Archives Day- Tuesday 9th June when the archival community, its users and the general public are called upon to contribute their view and opinions on what #AnArchiveIs to them.
