The Call for Candidates for Membership of the Training Programme Advisory Group is now closed
ICA’s Programme Commission (PCOM) is looking for candidates for membership of the new Training Programme Advisory Group (TPAG). Membership of the Group is voluntary and it is not expected that the TPAG will meet in person. The TPAG is chaired by the PCOM Liaison to the Training Programme. Members of this small Group will advise the Chair and ICA’s Training Officer on the goals, content and delivery of ICA’s training offering and will be responsible for making decisions and developing the strategy for the Training Programme. PCOM is looking to recruit a balance of geographic representation, skills and expertise. The Group’s Terms of Reference, including the desired membership experience and competency criteria, are available in the Downloads section below. More information about ICA’s Training programme is available here.
Candidates should write to ICA’s Training Officer, Margaret Crockett at crockett@ica.org outlining their relevant experience and competencies and explaining why they wish to serve on the Group. They should also include a brief bio and provide their ICA membership number. The candidates must be either a paid-up Individual Member (student, digital or full) of ICA at the time of application, or an institution with ICA membership (in good standing).
The deadline for receipt of proposals from candidates is the 7th of April 2022 at 23:59 CET.
Candidates will be assessed by PCOM’s Strategic Liaison to the Training Programme and the Training Officer who will draw up a list of members for approval by the VP Programme and the Programme Commission at the meeting in May. Successful candidates will be notified after 17th May. Subject to approval of membership, the Group’s first meeting will be late May or early June 2022.
