The Survey is now closed
The ICA’s Expert Group on Archival Buildings and Environments (EGABE) has undertaken a survey of archival buildings in Africa as part of the ICA’s Africa Programme.
It is acknowledged that collecting data on the buildings that house archives will assist with the identification of risks to collections and also draw out similarities. This data will additionally enable the Africa Programme to highlight key issues and so define priorities for project work.

The results of the survey will allow us to gauge current needs and inform the priorities for EGABE’s work in this area, as we continue to develop our partnership with ICCROM’s Africa Programme.
