RESULTS OF 2012 ELECTIONS
By 23 January 2012, the deadline for candidatures and nominations, only one complete and eligible dossier had been received for each of the published vacant posts. Accordingly, the members of ICA listed below have now been declared to be elected unopposed. All of the posts, except for the Audit Commission (which runs for four years), have a mandate of two years, starting at the Annual General Meeting in Brisbane on 24 August 2012 and concluding at the AGM in 2014.
Those officers elected to new positions will be in touch with the existing post-holders in the coming months, especially at the Executive Board in Bern on 19-20 April, so that a smooth transition will take place at the Brisbane Congress, with no loss of momentum.
I am sure that ICA’s members throughout the world will wish to join me in congratulating all these newly elected officers and wishing them every success in their posts.
