ICA’s General Assembly was held on Monday 26 November at the Palais des Congrès in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

Mr David Fricker and Mr Zuber were re-elected and Mr Charbonneau elected for a 4 years mandate.
The Evaluation Commission has two new members:  Ms Saroja Wettasinghe and Ms Esther Cruces-Blanco.
The General Assembly nominated Mr Gérard Ermisse, Mr Carol Couture and Mr Jonathan Rhys-Lewis as Fellows of ICA, to acknowledge and celebrate these three great professionals.
The General Assembly also thanked ICA volunteers and presented them with a certificate of acknowledgement. Ms Cécile Fabris, Ms Céline Fernandez, Ms Jessica Squires, Mr Jonathan Rhys-Lewis, Mr Didier Grange, Mr William Maher, Mr Gatis Karlsons, Ms Cherri-Ann Becklès, Mr Petr Svobodný, Mr Ivan Murambiwa, Ms Michelle Dolbec, Ms Deborah Jenkins, Mr Roman Lescano, Mr Edouard Vasseur, Ms Eléonore Alquier and Mr Abdel Kader Kpadonou were acclaimed by the floor.
Exchanges with the floor highlighted that some members wish for the ICA governance to be able to react faster and more often to news relating to the archival international community. Declarations from the ICA President about National Archives of Colombia and National Museum of Peru were much appreciated. Branches are encouraged to report issues arising in their geographical area to the Secretariat in order to allow ICA to react officially.
