Lekoko KENOSI

Dr Lekoko Kenosi is Associate Professor and Zayed University Archivist in the UAE. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree (BA) from the University of Botswana and a Masters’ degree in Archival Studies (MAS) from the University of British Columbia, Canada. Dr Kenosi has a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, USA. A US Fulbright Scholar in Archival Studies and a member of the University of British Columbia Interpares project, Dr Kenosi is a certified International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF) expert. Dr Kenosi also serves as an IRMT consultant on Archives and Records management. In his twenty -two years of professional archival engagement he has taught and supervised graduate and undergraduate dissertations in archival theory, Records Management, Electronic records and in Sound, Photographic, Video, Cinema and Television archives. He has served on many international professional committees, including being a program committee member for UNESCO’s conference on “Permanent Access to Digital Documentary Heritage.” He has published extensively in all the areas of records and archives mentioned above.
