The New Professionals Programme represents an incredible opportunity for new professionals and students from across the world to be introduced to leaders in the archival field, receive a mentor to help guide their career development, develop and implement a group project that will foster and support the global new professional community, receive a conference buddy, and be supported to attend and present alongside their fellow new professionals at the ICA Rome Conference 2022.
Presenting at an international conference, learning so much from the others in my cohort, being supported by the ICA and the many generous and kind individuals within it, and forging a relationship with my mentor has been a wonderful experience. We are looking for future leaders in the archival and recordkeeping profession to join the New Professionals Programme. We encourage potential applicants – archival and recordkeeping students, and anyone with less than 5 years of working experience – to apply for the New Professionals Programme, and those who may know potential applicants to encourage and support their applications.
