David Fricker, President of the ICA, is pleased to announce that, following the call for applications which was launched in June 2017, the Interview Committee appointed by the Executive Board has nominated Anthea Seles as its candidate for the position of ICA Secretary General.
Anthea Seles, who is a Canadian national, holds a Doctorate in Information Studies from the University College London. She has developed a considerable expertise in digital records management and preservation during her career, including in her current position at the National Archives UK.
In line with Internal Regulations, Ms Seles will be presented to the Executive Board when it meets in Mexico City at the ALA-ICA Conference to formalise her appointment.
