About this Project
The Understanding the landscape of trauma and archives project is in partnership with the Section for Education and Training (SAE). This project intends to undertake an international survey to raise awareness of, and better understand, the issue archivists face regarding trauma; gauge current understandings of these issues; and ask what training, education and resources are needed.
It is supported by the International Council on Archives (ICA) through the Programme Commission. A report of findings from the survey and recommendations will be distributed via the ICA list-serv and shared on the ICA website.
This project has human research ethics approval from The University of Melbourne.
