For the relaunched SLA in the period 2010-2016, the following projects have been suggested:
- Production of a directory of major repositories of literary and artistic archives;
- Protecting the archives of dissident writers;
- A study of all the issues around correspondence within literary collections;
- Collecting policies;
- Diverse international locations (especially of authors and artists whose papers are held outside their home country - the literary version of "displaced archives");
- "How to use" guidance for researchers using literary archives;
- Electronic media: the collection of literary and artistic material in the form of emails, electronic files, disks and diskettes;
- Literary copyright, archival copyright, copyright holders
