EGAD will be publishing versions 1.0 of RiC-CM and RiC-O in November 2023, thereby officially releasing both resources in their fully developed form. After several years of dedicated work and response to user feedback, this is an important milestone for both EGAD and the international archival community. EGAD are thus, in collaboration with the Archives Nationales de France, using the occasion to organise a study day spotlighting the fascinating projects that have already been developed using RiC since the release of its first draft in 2016.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the ICA, the Section on Sports Archives (SPO), invites you to take part in an online round table about the archives of sports and of the Olympic Games. In this virtual session, the guests will be discussing the tasks of collecting, preserving and promoting archives of sports and of the Olympic Games in the context of the preparation for the next Olympic Games, which will take place in Paris in 2024.
- Thursday 30 November 16:00 – 17:00 CET (Paris time)
This virtual session will offer an in-depth breakdown of the “Managing Digital Archives” online class and the practical skills it is designed to develop in learners by drawing extensively on the materials developed for the course. Participants will not only receive a primer of the knowledge contained within the course itself but will also be given the opportunity to ask any questions they may have about the course and its content directly to the co-authors themselves.
