SUV Newsletter, April 2011

Date Added:
09 July 2012

This issue introduces sources and sites from across the world such as the Manumed Project (Maghreb and the Mashreq), African Primary Sources (including a preservation wish list site of preservation needs by African institutions) or the Portal for National Copyright and Electronic Access Laws. It briefly discusses topics of the day such as ‘radioactive materials and archival issues' (e.g. highlighting issues with preserving Madame Curie's material in France, policy issues, or a dramatized video clip) and ‘sustainable archives' when looked at from a global perspective (e.g. Brazil and Sri Lanka). It introduces a new column about digital matters called ‘Digital Galore,' and the newsletter, of course, offers essential news regarding SUV matters for members and non-members alike.
