The Written Heritage Archive / Written Heritage of the Archives

The international heritage institute of France organises a seminar on written heritage:

Archives and libraries are two modes of preservation and valuation of written documents. It is as if the written heritage and the archival heritage were two parallel entities ignoring each other. This contradictory device is the product of a history that this seminar intends to address from training and professional practices, political and legal issues and functions assigned to the archiving and collection of written documents.
