Back from Haïti, Christophe Jacobs, responsible for the ICA Emergency Management Programme, met on 3 May 2010, in the ICA Secretariat in Paris, Ms. Danièle Neirinck, President of AsF-France, and Gérard Ermisse, responsible for the Haïti project at the Service Interministériel des Archives de France.
They talked about the development of co-operation with the Blue Shield in order to send volunteers to Haïti, and to contribute to the project of emergency treatment centre for the damaged cultural goods. Other partners such as the AIAF will be contacted to federate the international archival community’s efforts in response to this disaster.
