Claude Roberto received a B.A. and a M.A. from the University of Ottawa, Canada, before getting a Ph.D. in 1984 from the University of Alberta, Canada. She has been working for the last 25 years at the Provincial Archives of Alberta as a Private Records Archivist. She is now the Secretary General for the Bureau of Canadian Archivists which brings together the archivists of Canada belonging to the two national associations that reflect the country’s bilinguism: the Association of Canadian Archivists representing Anglophone archivists and the Association des Archivistes du Québec representing Francophone archivists.
