Biography: Juan Alonso Fernandez is an audio-visual archivist employed at the Historical Archives of the European Union (HAEU). He has a degree in History from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and another in Documentation, also at UAB. He has a postgraduate qualification in Management, Preservation and Dissemination of Photographic Archives by the Escola Superior d’Arxivística i Gestió de Documents (ESAGED) and has studied Audiovisual Communication at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). He has published several articles and papers on photographic documentation and has more than 10 years of experience in photographic and audiovisual management, working as a technician and consultant for several companies and institutions in both the public and private sector.
