The 50th Annual Meeting of the ICA Section on International Organisations (SIO) will be held on Friday, 31 October 2025, in Barcelona, Spain. This special one-day event, hosted by the Subdirecció General d’Arxius i Gestió Documental, replaces the originally planned anniversary meeting in Beijing, which has been postponed due to the current political climate and its effects on international organisations.
Celebrating five decades of SIO’s work, the meeting presents a valuable opportunity for professionals to reconnect, reflect, and collaborate on key developments in the field of archives and records management. The programme will feature a series of engaging presentations covering a wide range of current issues affecting international archives and institutional practices.
Please note: An ICA membership number is required to register. If your organisation holds ICA membership, all staff are eligible to use the institutional membership number to register for ICA/SIO events.
