The International Council on Archives (ICA) is offering a limited number of travel grants to support early-career archivists in attending key ICA events in 2026. This initiative provides a valuable opportunity to engage with the international archival community, expand professional networks, and gain visibility in the field.

What you will gain
Between five and ten New Professionals will be selected to receive financial support to attend an ICA event of their choice. Successful applicants will benefit from direct engagement with peers and experts, as well as opportunities to contribute to and learn from the global archives and records management sector.
Who can apply
Applicants must be students or early-career professionals with fewer than five years of paid experience in archives, records management, or a related field. They must also be members of the ICA, either individually or through their institution, and demonstrate how attending an ICA event will support their professional development.
Funding
Grants of up to €1,000 are available for international travel, up to €700 for regional travel, and up to €500 for national participation. Funding may be used to cover essential costs such as registration fees, travel, and accommodation.
