The Library Science and Information Research Institute (IIBI) at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), together with Casa de Oswaldo Cruz and the Vice-Presidency of Education, Information and Communication of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz), are inviting the submission of proposals for presentation at the 5th International Congress on Digital Archives, held jointly with the 3rd International Seminar on Digital Heritage from 5 to 8 May 2026 at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, Brazil.
These events aim to rethink integrity and authenticity, core principles underpinning long-term and sustainable digital preservation, in a context shaped by the increasing incorporation of intelligent algorithms and by efforts to reduce the carbon footprint of digital preservation. Within this evolving landscape, information transparency and the protection of personal data are highlighted as essential values.
