Deadline: Master’s-Level Internship in the Digitisation and Preservation of ICA Archives

This five to six-month internship, based at the ICA Secretariat in the Marais district of Paris, offers students a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an international organisation committed to advancing archives and documentary heritage worldwide. The internship also includes occasional work at the French National Archives site in Pierrefitte-sur-Seine. 

Applications must be submitted to ica@ica.org by 14 January 2026 at 23:59 CET (Paris time). With the deadline approaching, we invite students in archival studies to submit their applications as soon as possible. 

Main Responsibilities 

Working under the supervision of the Website and IT Coordinator, and in close collaboration with volunteers from the ICA History Project, the selected intern will: 

• Contribute to the digitisation of ICA’s historical archival collections 

• Support the organisation and long-term preservation of digitally born records 

• Gain direct experience with both analogue and digital archival workflows 

These activities support ongoing efforts to make ICA’s archives more accessible to the global community.
