Whether you’re developing archival capacity in under-resourced communities or designing professional tools and resources, now is the time to prepare and submit your proposal.

FIDA Call for Projects 2026
The Fund for the International Development of Archives (FIDA) supports projects that strengthen archives and records management in low-resourced communities worldwide. ICA members are invited to submit proposals for 2026 projects that build capacity and enhance professional skills.
Funding Available:
- Up to 5,000 Euros per project (exceptionally up to 10,000 Euros)
Who Can Apply:
- ICA members in good standing or partnered with a member organization
- ICA Professional Sections and Regional Branches may not apply directly but can support member-led applications
All applications must use the official FIDA application form and follow the updated guidelines.
PCOM Call for Projects 2026
The Programme Commission (PCOM) is calling for proposals that support the ICA’s strategic priorities through events, tools, resources, and activities of broad benefit to the archival community.
Special priority in 2026: Projects that create good practice guides—a dedicated 10,000 Euro allocation is available for this focus area.
Funding Available:
- Up to 5,000 Euros per project
- Project period: January–December 2026
Who Can Apply:
- ICA Groups (Regional Branches, Sections, Expert and Working Groups)
- ICA members or staff of institutional members in good standing
- Project leaders must be ICA members
Selection results will be published on the ICA website by January 2026.
