The International Council on Archives (ICA) invites interested participants to attend an open workshop dedicated to projects for inclusion in the UNESCO Memory of the World Programme International Register to be held on 20 April 2026 from 9:00 to 13:00 CET (Madrid time). Organised jointly by ICA’s European Regional Branch (EURBICA) and International Centre for Documentary Heritage (ICDH), this session will provide valuable insight into how documentary heritage can be nominated to the international register.

Whether you already have a nomination project in mind or would simply like to understand how the registration process works, the workshop offers an opportunity to learn directly from leading experts in the field. Participants will also have the chance to ask questions and gain practical guidance from members of the programme’s International Advisory Committee.
