The International Council on Archives is pleased to announce that the Ordinary General Assembly (GA) will take place on Tuesday, 28 October 2025, from 17:00 to 20:00 CET (Paris time), onsite in Barcelona and online.
This is the highest decision-making body within ICA, where strategic directions are set, Council management is overseen, and a wide range of operational decisions are made. The General Assembly typically meets once a year, during either the Congress or the Biennial Conference. This year, it will take place during ICA Barcelona 2025.
Its responsibilities include:
- Approving finance and audit reports
- Setting membership fee rates
- Electing Honorary Members and Fellows of ICA
Attendance and voting rights are determined according to the ICA Constitution.
