Are you a master’s student passionate about project management, communication, and the archival sector? The International Council on Archives (ICA) is offering a unique opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience with an international NGO dedicated to promoting the preservation of documentary heritage and advancing the archival profession globally.

What is Community Outreach?

At the heart of ICA’s mission is the promotion of dialogue, knowledge exchange, and the effective management of archives across global communities. Community outreach at ICA focuses on creating connections and empowering archival professionals and institutions through collaboration and shared resources. By engaging with members and stakeholders worldwide, ICA works to enhance regional development, promote innovative practices, and ensure the preservation of documentary heritage. Whether it’s through digitization projects, regional programs, or initiatives like International Archives Week, community outreach ensures that the voices of diverse communities are heard and that archival practices continue to evolve and meet the needs of the global community. This internship offers the chance to directly contribute to these vital efforts, fostering connections between local and international archival networks.
