Flash: The ICA Digital Magazine

Flash is a digital publication that highlights ICA activities and recent developments within the archival profession. Published twice a year, Flash serves as a vital source of information for ICA members, complementing the more detailed reports and discussions found in Comma, ICA’s peer-reviewed journal.

Flash’s Editorial Board

Meet the distinguished team of professionals who lead the magazine’s development, ensuring the highest standards of content and engagement:

  • Shirley Carvalhêdo Franco is a distinguished professor at the University of Brasília (UnB), Brazil.
  • Raquel Gonzalez Rodelgo currently works at the Archivo Regional de la Comunidad de Madrid, focusing on reference services and document access.
  • Daisy Selematsela is the University Librarian at the University of the Witwatersrand.
  • David Sutton, as the Director of Research Projects at The Library, University of Reading, Dr. Sutton leads major research initiatives including the Location Register and WATCH projects.

As part of the Editorial Board, the board members shape the magazine’s editorial direction, review and edit submissions, and contribute original content. They also engage with the ICA community to promote the magazine and solicit contributions.
