Junia Papas (Yasenov)

I am a Certified Archivist and Copyright Officer with years of government, academic, and religious archival experience. As Provincial Archivist for the Capuchins, I am responsible for the development of a records management program for a province that includes the four states of Wisconsin, Illinois, Montana, and Michigan. I manage the selection, processing, and preservation of religious artifacts, audio-visual media, textiles, and paper-based archival materials for these locations as well as a 524 sq ft reference room housing 2000 books in Detroit. I have directed the construction of a 1064 square foot archival vault housing 1428 linear feet of archival materials to industry standards. In addition, I develop policy while managing the archival budget and staff. I enjoy providing archival reference services and creating museum exhibits for the Solanus Casey Center.
