Antoinette SEYMOUR

Antoinette Seymour (AA, BA, MEd, MSc) is currently the Records Management Officer at Utilities Regulation & Competition Authority at Nassau, Bahamas. She, an alumna of College of The Bahamas (COB), is the former COB University Transition Secretariat (UTS) Archivist and COB’s first Archivist, and later, the first Archivist at University of The Bahamas. Since January 1985 she had been employed at COB in managerial posts in the following units: Records Department, Academic Affairs, President’s Office, Council Office and Libraries, and has an extensive knowledge of the institution’s history. She gained an MSc Information Management & Preservation [Archives & Records Management] degree from University of Glasgow, Scotland in 2010, and this was immediately followed by a 4-month internship at Glasgow Museums. In September 2014, she completed a year’s international attachment at Glasgow University Archive Services. Ms Seymour was responsible for setting up the institutional archive at The College/University of The Bahamas. She is also a Chess Olympian '18. #Bahamas#Strong
