Martino Dutto

I was born on 10 may 1992, in Savigliano (Cuneo, Italy). I studied at Liceo Classico "Silvio Pellico", ending five years with the Diploma. During this period, I also studied organ music and I started to play organ in churches. In 2011 I started the university in Torino: my first degree course was Beni culturali archivistici e librari (Archivistic and Librarian Cultural Heritage). I was graduated with 108/110. In 2014 I began the Postgraduate degree course in History, with a thesis titled "Towards memory’s home. The collaboration between museums, archives and libraries". This study in LAM (Library, Archive and Museum) experience was supported by my biennal studies in the Archivistical, Diplomatic and Paleography School in Archivio di Stato di Torino. I was graduated with 110/100 cum laude. Actually, I'm going to start the biennal Master in Expert in Protection and Evaluation of Cultural Heritage.
After these experience, I started to work in different archives: I worked with personal archives (Archivio di don Francesco Brondello, Limone Piemonte), public archives (Archivio dei Comuni di Pradleves e di Valmala) and diocesan archives (Diocesi di Cuneo, Fossano, Alba, Asti). I like working with old papers, because I'm very curious about the local history; furthermore I think it's important to preserve and to know our history. If we lose the memory of our past, we lose the chance to create a futur better than now. I'm also interest to the Risk management and preventive conservation in Cultural Heritage.
What about my interests? I like hiking on mountain, because I can stay nearer the nature and in silence in front of the mountains that are very old.
