The International Council on Archives (ICA) is seeking a new Executive Director to lead its Secretariat in Paris and support the organisation’s mission to advance archives, records management, and documentary heritage worldwide. 

As the most senior member of the ICA Secretariat, the Executive Director advises the Elected Officers and is responsible for implementing the goals, strategies, and policies established by the President, Vice-Presidents, the Executive Board, and the General Assembly. The role includes representing the ICA, managing staff and financial resources, supporting ICA governance structures, and fostering partnerships in line with the ICA’s strategic directions.
