The International Council on Archives (ICA) is proud to announce the opening of the Call for Nominations for ICA Fellows 2025—a prestigious recognition honouring exceptional individuals in the archival and information management community.
The ICA Fellowship is the highest distinction awarded by the ICA. It recognises those who have made a lasting and outstanding contribution to the organisation and the archival profession at the international level. Fellows are selected through a rigorous nomination process and hold this honour for life.
If you know a colleague, mentor, or professional who has shown extraordinary leadership, service, and impact—whether through years of dedication to ICA bodies, key contributions to international archival standards and education, or advocacy at the global level—now is the time to put their name forward.
Deadline for submissions: Friday 27 June 2025 at 23:59 CET (Paris time)
Nominees do not need to be ICA members, but nominators must be in good standing. All nominations must be submitted with the required documentation, including a statement of support, two letters of recommendation, and a brief biography of the nominee.
Fellows receive free lifetime ICA membership, complimentary registration to ICA events, and are celebrated during the ICA General Assembly in October 2025.
